Terms and Conditions
Please read the following booking conditions carefully, as they set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Thomas Cook Tour
Operations Limited (“we, us and our”), trading as The Big Reunion.
The contract may be one in which we act as an agent or a principal. That will depend upon, and our obligations to you will vary depending upon, whether
you book with us only a “Big Reunion Event Ticket” (as defined below), or add to your booking optional ”Single Components” (as defined below). The
differing obligations are set out below, in two separate sections. Section A applies to all bookings. Section B details those conditions which will
also apply but only where you book additional Single Components.
A Big Reunion Event Ticket is a ticket we sell to you for entry to The Big Reunion Event.
Single Components are individual items provided by our suppliers, such as accommodation or coach travel. You may buy one or more Single Components at
the same time. Where you book one or more Single Components, we act only as booking agent for the respective suppliers of the Single Components and as
such, bookings of Single Components will form a direct contract between you and the relevant supplier, and will be subject to those suppliers’ standard terms and conditions.
Section A- All Bookings
The Big Reunion Event is made up of music/entertainment weekends at Butlins, Skegness. We have made arrangements for Butlins to supply all necessary
services and facilities and we have made arrangements for independent Promoters / DJ’s to provide the entertainment. We do not provide these
arrangements ourselves. We rely upon Butlins and the Promoters / DJ’s, and the other suppliers who provide any other arrangements in connection with
The Big Reunion Event and/or travel to it to supply and provide services and facilities in a proper and normally competent fashion. Our contractual
obligation is limited to the selection of normally competent suppliers of services/facilities of the sort involved with The Big Reunion Event. We do
not own or control any of the suppliers providing any part of The Big Reunion Event and/or travel arrangements, all of which suppliers are independent
contractors.
1. How to Book the Big Reunion Event and Single Components
Bookings can be made through ‘The Big Reunion’ agent in resort or by telephoning our reservations department on 0844 871 6633. To secure your booking
you must pay a deposit. Once you have booked, a contract will then exist between us in respect of The Big Reunion Event and, in relation to Single
Components, between you and the relevant suppliers. Within one month we will issue an invoice confirming all the details you have booked and price. If
you haveany questions, or anything does not appear to be right, you must contact our reservations staff immediately.
2. Payment terms for the Big Reunion Event and Single Components
The deposit for your Big Reunion Event Ticket is £45 per person, payable immediately unless your booking is made within 91 days (13 weeks) of your
intended departure date, in which case the total cost must be paid at the time of booking. If you prefer, you can pay your full amount at the time you
make you booking, if you decide to do this, you will be entitled to an early payment discount of £10 per person. Please ask at the time of booking if
you wish to take advantage of this offer. Discount not applicable for bookings made within 91 days of departure.
Please note, we do not accept part payments for balances. The balance of the cost must be paid 91 days before the start date. On your invoice please
pay particular attention to the date your final payment is due. PLEASE NOTE FAILURE TO PAY ON TIME WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION AND LOSS OF DEPOSIT.
3. Method of Payment for the Big Reunion Event and Single Components
Credit Cards: We accept Barclaycard/Visa, Access/MasterCard. Debit Cards: We welcome payment by most debit cards. The initial deposit for any
telephonic or electronic booking must be paid by a credit or debit card. Regrettably, payments for the Big Reunion CANNOT be made by cash, cheque or
accepted in any Thomas Cook Retail Stores.
4. Insurance
We recommend that you arrange appropriate travel insurance for this event.
5. Changes you make before the Big Reunion Event and cancellation of Big Reunion Event

5. Cancellation by Us
We can cancel The Big Reunion Event at any time for any reason at our own discretion. We can particularly cancel The Big Reunion Event if not enough
customers have booked to make it worth operating. If we have to cancel, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. In these circumstances, we
will give you a full refund of any money paid to us but we will have no other liability whatsoever to you.
6. Our Liability to You for the Big Reunion Event tickets (excluding Single components)
Our obligations are limited to the selection of normally competent independent contractors to provide the services and/or facilities involved with The
Big Reunion Event and, unless we fail to do so, we have no liability or obligation to you for any failure by any suppliers of service and/or facilities
to provide services and/or facilities either at all or in a safe and proper manner. In particular, we have no liability to you for any death, personal
injury, loss or damage suffered by you unless caused directly by our negligence.
If we have liability for claims which do not involve death or personal injury, we will pay you reasonable compensation. However, the maximum we will
pay you in any circumstances is twice the price of The Big Reunion Event. This maximum will only be payable when every aspect of The Big Reunion Event
has gone wrong and you have not received any benefit from your Big Reunion Event.
You are obliged to assist us in recovering from any third party any sum which may compensate us for any sums we pay you. Finally, you must follow the
procedures for the notification of complaints set out in the clause below entitled “Complaints about The Big Reunion Event or Single Components”.
7. Complaints about the Big Reunion Event or Single components
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of The Big Reunion Event or Single Component arrangements please complain as soon as possible to the relevant
person (for example, the accommodation management, coach driver or your Big Reunion representative). If they cannot help you must contact us on the
telephone number supplied to you on your invoice/receipt and we will do everything reasonably possible to sort the problem out. If you are still not
satisfied please write to our offices in the UK within 28 days. If you have special needs, which prevent you from writing to us then, where possible,
we will accept details of your complaint over the telephone.
The address to send complaints to is:
Thomas Cook Tour Operations Limited The Big Reunion
Thomas Cook Business Park
Coningsby Road Peterborough
PE3 8SB
E-mail: events@thebigreunion.com
We would point out that failure to follow the above procedures and/or failure to complain within 28 days of your return, may reduce or extinguish any
rights you have to claim compensation from us, or from any relevant supplier. Any such rights will be reduced or extinguished if, had you followed the
above procedures, you or we could have taken steps to reduce any loss or damage suffered or entirely prevented it from being suffered.
It is difficult and sometimes impossible to investigate a complaint properly if we are not told about it reasonably quickly once The Big Reunion Event
is over. Your right to claim compensation may also be reduced or extinguished, should any delay in your complaint being notified during or after The
Big Reunion Event, prevent us from carrying out a proper investigation.
We aim to resolve all complaints ourselves, but if this is not possible your complaint can be considered under a scheme devised by ABTA and
administered by IDRS Ltd. We will give you details of this scheme if you ask. The scheme does not apply to claims over £25,000 in total or more than
£5,000 a person, or to claims mainly about illness or injury. To take advantage of the scheme you must contact IDRS Ltd within 9 months of returning
from your trip. For complaints arising from Single Components, we will act as a liaison between you and the supplier, to try to assist in resolving the
problem. If we cannot help and you wish to take matters further, you must contact the supplier directly.
8. Special requests
If you have a special request for anything that is not automatically part of your arrangements, please check when you book The Big Reunion Event or any
Single Components and we will pass this information on to the companies we work with. Our note of your request on your invoice/receipt confirms we have
received it and does not guarantee that we, or the relevant supplier, can meet with your request. Where possible they will try to help you, but we
cannot guarantee any request unless it is noted on your invoice/receipt and we also confirm the request separately in writing. We must emphasise that,
verbal confirmations of special requests cannot be taken as a guarantee that they will be met e.g. requests to share accommodation with friends.
9. Personal Information
We will provide your personal information, as well as any personal information you provide in relation to those other persons who form your booking
party, to suppliers and carriers who might be located outside the UK and/or EU, to enable the operation of the services requested by you. If you make
special requests, which include, but are not limited to, special dietary, religious or disability-related requirements, which constitute sensitive
information, the relevant data will also be passed to the relevant suppliers and carriers to enable provision of the services to you. The minimum age
for entry to The Big Reunion Event is 17 years. Anyone aged 17 must be accompanied by an adult of 18 or over. The person accepting the Terms &
Conditions is the lead name and must be 18 or over. He/She is responsible for payment of the total booking price, including any insurance premiums,
together with any amendments made to the booking and subsequent cancellation or amendment charges that may be payable. He or she also agrees to provide
accurate and full information of the remainder of the party in relation to the booking; and by agreeing to the booking conditions, confirms that all
other members of the party (including any added at a later date), agree to be bound by these conditions.
10. Your Responsibility
We want all our customers to have an enjoyable and carefree trip. But you must remember that you are responsible for your actions and the affect they
may have on others. If we (or another person in authority) believe your actions could upset other customers, our suppliers or our own staff, or put
them in danger, we may end your participation in The Big Reunion Event and this could mean we may either ask you to leave The Big Reunion Event or any
booked accommodation, or prevent you from boarding a coach you have booked through us. We, or our suppliers will deny boarding or impose additional
conditions of carriage on any passenger who, for example, is intoxicated and/or disruptive or found to be smoking on board the coach. If this happens,
we will not pay compensation, make refunds, or cover any expenses you suffer as a result.
11. Disabled Guests
It is important if you have a disability that the appropriate enquiries are made about the suitability, prior to booking. We cannot be held responsible
if you fail to tell us about any special needs / requirements that will affect your trip and this means we will not compensate you. Please contact the
team on 0844 871 6633.
12. Law and Jurisdiction
Your contract will be governed by English law and any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland
or Scotland, the courts of Northern Ireland or Scotland (as appropriate), can deal with any disputes. We reserve the right to alter these booking
conditions and you should check our website at the time of booking.
B. Single Components

We act solely as a booking agent for the relevant supplier, and as such, have no liability whatsoever to you for any death, personal injury or loss of
whatever nature you may suffer unless caused by our own negligence.
3. Changes made by our suppliers before travel
From time to time our suppliers may have to change details of the arrangements you have booked. If any change will have a significant effect on your
arrangements we will tell you about it before you depart, if there is time. If you do not want to accept the significant change, which we tell you
about before you depart, you can cancel your arrangements and receive a refund of any money paid to us. If we have to tell you about a significant
change before travel, we will pay you compensation. The minimum amount you will receive in this Big Reunion Event will be £15. In the event your coach
departure point is altered or withdrawn and you choose not to accept the alternative departure point we offer, we will refund your Coach price paid to
us in full.
4. Suppliers’ conditions
Our third party suppliers have their own booking conditions and conditions of carriage, and you will be bound by these, so far as the relevant supplier
is concerned. Our suppliers’ conditions will also apply to your contract with us, and in the event of any conflict between the suppliers’ conditions
and our conditions, the suppliers’ conditions will prevail, save to the extent that any term in the suppliers’ conditions is deemed to be invalid or
unenforceable, in which event our conditions will prevail. Some of our Suppliers’ conditions may limit or exclude liability on the part of the relevant
supplier, and, by virtue of their application to your contract with us, may also limit or exclude our liability to you, and they are often subject to
international conventions. Where relevant, copies of such conditions may be available for inspection at the office of the relevant supplier.

arrangements ourselves.

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, as they set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Thomas Cook Tour
Operations Limited (“we, us and our”), trading as The Big Reunion.
